May impair glucose tolerance or hypoglycaemia may occur in diabetics under insulin or antidiabetic therapy. Monitor blood glucose. Pregnancy (1st trimester). Not recommended during lactation. Telmisartan: Do not give to patients w/ cholestasis, biliary obstructive disorders or severe hepatic insufficiency. Increased risk of severe hypotension & renal insufficiency in patients w/ bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of the artery to a single functioning kidney. Hydrochlorothiazide: May manifest latent DM during therapy.
